Wedding and Civil Partnership Ceremonies

Ceremonies can be held in one of three very different reception rooms. The room you choose will depend on the number of guests you have and the style of ceremony you would like.

Ceremonies in The Long Gallery

The Long Gallery easily accommodates 120 seated guests in a traditional aisle and row style. Wedding ceremonies take place at the far end of the gallery, allowing for a long aisle, as required. The Long Gallery has two spelndid Medieval stone fireplaces and family portraits hanging on the walls.

Ceremonies in The Medieval Lodgings

The Medieval Lodgings are situated in the oldest part of the hall with a unique Tudor ambience.

Perfect for small, themed weddings, these rooms can accommodate up to 40 seated guests. The Lodgings have remained almost unaltered since 1500 and the Lodgings have remained almost unaltered since 1500. Dinners have also taken place in these rooms for a maximum of 40 guests. In the winter months, we have log fires burning in these rooms.
