Accessing the House and Gardens

The entrance to the gardens and the house is accessible to wheelchair users.  There is a chair stair lift to the first floor of the building and ramps can be put in place at all strategic points.  

​When the house is open to the public there are two rooms at the top of the Charles II Grand Staircase which are not accessible by wheelchair.  

​The Gardens are mown lawns and the area is on the flat.  Access to the wood by wheelchair would be difficult.

There are accessible toilet facilities for wheelchair and buggy users.
